Simple Woman's Daybook 7/12

I love participating in The Simple Woman's Daybook. I don't know why I don't participate more often! It gives me a chance to sit down and evaluate what is on my mind and going on in my life. I love reading what other people have written. They range from casual (like mine) to very poetical and deep. Head on over and participate!

Outside my window... is some seriously long grass that needs to be cut.

I am thinking... of grace. How much I need it and how I can extend it more.

I am thankful... for the gift of the Holy Spirit. Can you imagine the Christian walk without it??

From the learning rooms... I am still studying up on photography. My, what a wide topic!

In the kitchen... Amish Friendship Bread.

I am wearing... a purple dress and flip flops.

I am creating... homemade cards to send to love ones.

I am going... to deliver Friendship Bread starters to friends today.

I am wondering... how I can instill more scripture into my children.

I am reading... an article written by a woman about 1 Cor. 11

I am hoping... the grass will somehow cut itself. :)

I am looking forward to... some books I have coming in the next couple days.

I am hearing... the clattering of spoons.

Around the house... laundry, laundry, everywhere!

I am pondering... next years homeschool curriculum.

One of my favorite things... trips to the library with Lilly.

A few plans for the rest of the week... Lilly is getting a tooth pulled tomorrow (yuck!), library trip, grocery store, and enjoying some new books.

Here is a picture I am sharing...

Wow Amanda, i REALLY enjoyed my introduction to your blog and the peep I saw into your life(not just Sunday life:)) and i love what I see! I have really noticed how secure your children are in your and John's love and care. They(and you and John) certainly bring a lot of life and joy to our church fellowship! I hope your week goes well!
